Summary: The "Class Black," 10th Grade of Myōjō Academy is composed of 12 assassins disguised as students and one target: Haru Ichinose. Fully aware of being the prey, Ichinose vows to survive assassination attempts and graduate from the school alive. One of the assassins, Tokaku Azuma, has started building up feelings for Ichinose and switched side to become her protector. Together they have to face the onslaught from their classmates of 11 assassins.

Summary: In order to survive the eventual arrival of the "Dusk End," people of the western reaches of the "Land of Dusk" devoted their efforts to rediscover and recreate lost alchemic technologies. Those technologies were then gathered in the alchemy city known as "Central," where research was conducted on how to halt the advance of the twilight. Having learned the newest alchemic techniques in Central, young alchemist Logy requested a transfer to an understaffed town of Colseit on the frontier to make use of his abilities. There he meets Escha, an apprentice girl assigned to the Development Department. Together, the two make a promise to use their alchemic techniques to bring success to the Development Department.
My First Impressions: Watched an episode, and seems very much like a feel-good-anime type. There was nothing in it that really seemed of interesting to me. <not continuing unless recommended>

Summary: In the year 2021, mankind was defeated by Gastrea, a parasitical virus, and is forced to live within a wall made of Varanium Monoliths, a metal that is able to subdue Gastrea. Soon, the "Cursed Children", children born with the Gastrea virus who are able to control it — which gives them superhuman abilities — were discovered. Due to the Gastrea virus' intervention, the Cursed Children could only be female. Civil Securities are formed to specialize in fighting against Gastrea, operating with the pair of an Initiator, who are cursed children, and a Promoter, serving to lead the cursed children. Ten years after the war, Rentarou Satomi, a high school student who is also a Promoter in his childhood friend Kisara Tendou's Tendou Civil Security, along with his Initator Enju Aihara, receives a secret mission to prevent the Tokyo Area's destruction.
My First Impressions: I didn't think this would be so bad, but I couldn't watch much more than half. You have the typical idiot guy, little girl who's in love with him and wants to marry him, then you have the sensitive but usually ditzy president. Summary: One night right before summer vacation, Daichi Manatsu, a second-year in high school, sees a weird round rainbow floating in the sky above Tanegashima and ventures there alone. He has seen this rainbow before. With the memories of his father's mysterious death and an encounter of a mysterious boy and girl, Daiji arrives on the island while the alarm of a building labeled "Earth Engine" is going off. Someone asks him if he's a captain, just as robotic intruders from Uranus called "Kiltgang" arrive. The battle around the shining stars is about to begin.
My First Impressions: Watched ep1 and was not impressed. The art and animation are rather mediocre, characters aren't all that interesting, and it's so typical "boy ends up piloting mecha and knows exactly what to do despite not knowing mechas even existed". <not continuing unless recommended>

Summary: High school freshman Cocoa Hoto got lost and bumped into a coffee shop called "Rabbit House" while looking for a boarding house for the upcoming semester of her new school. Luckily, Rabbit House is the boarding house she's looking for, and to return the favor Cocoa starts working at the coffee shop alongside quiet and cool Chino, strong and athletic Rize, plus Chiya and Syaro from Japanese-styled coffee shop Amausaan, as well as the shop mascot rabbit Tippy, who sometimes doesn't quite act like a rabbit.

Summary: A high school senior Murakami Ryouta had a childhood friend called Kuroneko who died in an accident. Ryouta had made a promise with Kuroneko that he will prove there are aliens in the universe. In order to fulfill his promise, he joined the astronomy club at the school as its only member and kept observing the stars almost every night. One day, a girl who looks like Kuroneko transferred into his class. To his surprise, the girl's name is Kuroha Neko which is really similar to his childhood friend's name. However it seems that there is something unusual about her. It turns out that she is a witch who actually escaped from a research laboratory.

Summary: Shōyō Hinata began playing volleyball after seeing the "small giants" who played the sport when he was in elementary school. He suffers a crushing defeat in his first and last tournament in middle school at the hands of his rival Tobio Kageyama. So, Hinata joins Kurasuno High School's volleyball team, vowing revenge against Kageyama. However, Kageyama is also on Kurasuno's team. The former rivals form a legendary combo with Hinata's mobility and Kageyama's precision ball-handling. Together, they take on the local tournaments and vow to meet Kurasuno's fated rival school in the nationals.

Summary: The story of the original manga revolves around Nekoyama Suzu, a timid, shy tsundere girl who loves dogs, and Inugami Yachiyo, a super masochistic, air-headed, friendly girl who loves cats. One day, after a fateful meeting, the two find themselves attracted to each other. In response to Inugami's instinctive approaches, Nekoyama is always bashful. Their friend Aki has to work hard to make jabs at some of the situations of the two, and also to stop Inugami from going berserk.

Summary: The dragon sleeps under the ground of this land... It gives an abundant harvest on the land when sleeping, but brings disaster when it is awake. In every decade or century, the dragon moves its body as if it tosses about unconsciously. The movement becomes the distortion and causes impurity. This impurity lavishes an evil on people. And now, there is a huge indication of a distortion. Gods foresaw the greatest harm would happen to Japan, they divided their own power and gave it to a messenger of God in Japan who gathered and provided the power to mediums, or Magica who can expel the impurity. With their magical weapon, the power of Gods, Magica will fight to stop evil in Japan.
My First Impressions: These are only 5 minutes per episode. I watched the first one and it was just so weird and non-sensical in terms of art and style, but the character is so typical that it's just not interesting enough for me to want to keep watching.

Summary: In a world where magic is a product of neither legends nor fairy tales, but has become a technological reality for nearly a century, various countries in the world are locked in a race in nurturing magicians, practitioners of modern magic. For that purpose, Magic High Schools were nationally established. At First High School, the first of its kind, an elite school where the most excellent magicians are fostered; two hundred students are divided into two courses. With the students of Course 1 excelling in magic, whereas the Course 2 students are only seen as replacements. The difference between the two results in discrimination of Course 2 students, so-called Weed by Course 1 students, called Bloom.
In the spring of the year AD 2095, two magicians enroll in First High School. Shiba Tatsuya, an honor student without magic capability, who was barely accepted into Course 2, along with his sister, Shiba Miyuki, who happens to be the top student among the freshmen in Course 1. In this environment where students are divided into elites and pleebs right at enrollment and discrimination is running rampant, what will happen to the irregulars at magic high school?
My First Impressions: Only watched a couple eps so far, but this isn't bad so far. Art and animation aren't great, but acceptable. The characters seem somewhat typical and yet not to the point of being really boring. The story hints that most of the characters have more of a story behind them and unique abilities. So far, it's doing a good job of playing on that.

There, God has prohibited war and declared this to be a world where everything is decided by games - even national borders. Humanity has been driven back into one remaining city by the other races. Will Sora and Shiro, the good-for-nothing brother and sister, become the Saviors of Humanity on this alternate world? "Well, let's start playing."
My First Impressions: Somehow it sounded really cliche, and yet, something about this keeps me watching. I'll be interested to see how it continues. He does explain a lot of the strategies that they're using and it's not all bad. There was clearly thinking behind it. Hopefully it's not just the same thing over and over again.

However, Smile's quiet personality keeps him from being able to win against Peco. The club's teacher takes notice of Smile's talent and works to change his attitude toward the sport.

Using the mysterious powers of these hidden items, they should be able to find the culprit. As Jugo begins his hunt for her collection, however, he discovers he's not the only person searching.

Summary: Ash is a student at Ansalivan Dragon Academy, attended by children who have formed contracts with dragons. He possesses the "star mark," the sign of a contract, but since his partner hasn't been born yet, he seems insignificant. The awakening of the dragon he's raising inside his body is triggered by an incident, and it emerges in the form of a young girl.
My First Impressions: While it's not bad, if it doesn't get more interesting, I will end up dropping this one. The art isn't too bad, but the characters are starting to grate on me a bit, being too typical stereotypes.

Summary: WIXOSS is a card game that's popular with teenagers. Supposedly there exist "LRIG Cards," female character cards with wills of their own. Special girls can hear the voices of the LRIGs, and those who possess them are called Selectors. These Selectors have card battles in a dimension that other humans cannot access. It's said that whoever triumphs in these battles will have their wish granted. Ruko Kominato is the latest girl to find a LRIG card. She names hers Tama, and without any further explanation is thrown into her life as a Selector.
My First Impressions: Decided to watch a couple of episodes, but while ep1 was okay and had some interest, ep2 was incredibly boring and introduces some rather useless characters. I thought this would be more interesting, but the figures don't even really battle with each other, they just stand there. <not continuing unless recommended>

She soon discovers that the King, who conquered the world in only three years after his ascendance to the throne, is still a young boy. Despite being total strangers at first they start to understand one another and develop an emotional bond with each other.
My First Impressions: I tried watching this, but I got ridiculously bored. It's so typical: the princess is very tomboy and outspoken, the king is an arrogant boy, and the two try to get along, blah blah blah. <not continuing unless recommended>
