Summary: A fleet of unmanned ships, called the Fleet of Fog, equipped with super advanced weapons and technology suddenly appeared all over the world. Mankind didn't have the capability to face such a fleet and so was defeated in a devastating naval war. This resulted in mankind being driven out of the seas and losing their ability to travel the seas. 17 years after this devastating naval war, Chihaya Gunzou and his friends are aboard the I-401, a former Fleet of Fog submarine. Together with the I-401's mental model, Iona, they take on the Fleet of Fog.
My First Impressions: While the characters are all obviously stereotypes, the show itself isn't too bad so far. Not a lot of story, but a decent amount of action. The art and animation are good enough. Will give this at least a couple of more episodes.

My First Impressions: I've given up on this. After 2 eps and a bit, this story makes absolutely no sense and so many of the characters are really annoying. <not continuing unless recommended>

Summary: In 2061, global warming is a thing of the past as a new ice age covers the world. Hozuki, Hazaki, and Kazaki Ferrari, three descendents of Galileo, live in Tuscany. A mysterious organization is searching for the "Galilei Donna," and put out an international arrest warrant for the three sisters. The sisters must put aside their differences to join forces in fighting the organization and learning their true destiny.
My First Impressions: After 3 episodes, there isn't much to say. Stuff happens, some of the characters are annoying, but it's interesting enough to give it a bit of a try. Too many dead moments though, so of all the shows, this is the one most likely to get dropped.

Due to the after-effects of an accidental fall from a bridge shortly after high school graduation, he lost all his memories from before then. At the time of the accident, Banri's soul had escaped from his body, and the "Spirit of Banri Tada" came into being, carrying his memories from before graduation.

Summary: Ryuuko Matoi carries a large weapon shaped like half of a pair of scissors. She's looking for the woman with the other half, who killed her father. Satsuki Kiryuuin, student council president of Honnouji Academy, is said to know the woman's identity, so Ryuuko transfers there. Those who arrive at the school receive a special "goku uniform," and Satsuki has used that power to rule the school in fear.
My First Impressions: I could not watch this if only becaues of the art. I'll give it another short if someone tells me it's good despite the art. <not watching unless recommended>

Summary: Akihito Kanbara is a high school sophomore in the literature club who believes himself to be a "Meganest", and although he appears to be human, he is actually half Yōmu, which makes him invulnerable to wounds, due to the fact that he can heal so quickly, and also immortal. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it appears as if she is about to attempt suicide by jumping off of the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is considered heresy even among other members of the underworld, so she is shunned. Soon after Akihito saves Mirai, disturbing events begin to arise.
My First Impressions: The characters are either boring or annoying and the art isnt' that great either. I just didn't really find anything interesting to keep me going with this. <not continuing unless recommended>

Summary: Hidden within Kyoto is the "mirror capital" where youkai and humans live together and no one ever dies. It is protected by three people - Kurama, Yase, and Myoue - as they await the return of their parents, Myoue Jonin and Koto. One day a young girl named Koto (same name, different spelling) and her little brothers A and Un wander into the city from a different dimension looking for her mother. A mecha-geek with red eyes, it's not immediately clear whether she's human or youkai. Her arrival upsets the long peace that had ruled the city.

Summary: Elder Tales is an online fantasy RPG that has become popular worldwide. But when its twelfth expansion package, "Cultivate the Noosphere," is installed, thirty thousand players in Japan are trapped inside. Among them is grad student Shiroe, who isn't very good at interacting with others. But to survive in a world full of monsters, he forms a guild called "Log Horizon" with an eclectic group of other players.
My First Impressions: So far, this seems like all the other stuck-in-game-world anime. One or two things are done differently, which gives it some appeal. Very similar to Sword Art Online I think, but seems entertaining enough so far.

Summary: It is the early 20th century, and Raishin Akabane is a student puppeteer from Japan, who has come to the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machine Arts in England to study the emerging field of Machinart: a combination of magic and technology with military applications. He is accompanied by a girl named Yaya, who is actually his Automaton: a living machine doll powered by magical circuits specialized in hand-to-hand combat. In the Academy, there is a combat tournament exclusive to the Top 100 students and their automata, to decide who shall be bestowed with the title of "Wiseman", the greatest puppeteer.
My First Impressions: Yaya is the most annoying character I have encountered in a while. Thankfully she doesn't talk a huge amount. The art and animation are good enough, and there is enough intrigue and learning how the magical world works that it's gained some interest for me. It also moves the story at a decently fast pace (compared to most others), so I'll give it a shot.

Summary: Long ago, humanity lived in the sea. But the humans who longed for the land left the sea behind. They cast aside the special raiment they'd been given by the sea god that let them live in the ocean. The thinking of the sea humans and the land humans became as separate as the places they lived, and as countless time passed, they forgot they were once one people. This will change as the land-dwelling human Tsumugu Kihara befriends four girls who live in a village at the bottom of the sea.
My First Impressions: Ep1 was okay. Seems kind of typical school life type anime, but will definitely need at least another ep or two before saying more.

In this fantasy world where dragon soar the skies, shinichi forms a deep friendship with the half-elf maid girl Myuseru and the beautiful young empress Petoraru. Even as he deals with the threats of war between different fractions, he worries that he himself is an invader to this wondrous land.

Summary: "The fourth true ancestor" is a legendarily strong vampire that shouldn't exist. Accompanied by the 12 "gun-beasts," this phantom vampire is said to have appeared in Japan. In order to find and kill this "fourth true ancestor," the government and the Lion King Organization order the dispatch of attack mages called "sword-maidens." For some reason an apprentice named Yukina Himeragi was chosen for the task. Wielding the strongest spiritual spear, Yukina comes to the special demon district Itokami City. There she encounters Kojou Akatsuki and learns the true nature of the "fourth true ancestor."
My First Impressions: It's okay. Entertaining enough I guess. Art and animation are tolerable. The characters are rather typical, but the first arc was finished in 4 eps, so I'll give it at least a couple more eps.

Summary: In the "Great Disaster," Japan has been thrown into chaos by onmyouji (a kind of magician). Harutora Tsuchimikado was born into an onmyouji family, but has no power whatsoever. His childhood friend Natsume (another member of the Tsuchimikado family) appears to him one day to take him up the promise he made long ago to become her shikigami (familiar). A battle between onmyouji is about to begin.
My First Impressions: After two episodes, it has really only covered the summary, but it doesn't happen as the summary might imply. The art isn't bad though some of the familiars look a bit out of place. The characters got too annoying for me and the story was stupid and didn't make any sense. <not continuing unless recommended>
