Using his knowledge gained from school and from his solar-powered smartphone, he has the chance to bring the Wolf Clan, the same people who cared for him, to prominence, all while earning the adoration of a group of magic-wielding warrior maidens known as the Einherjar.
My First Impressions: So far, this is your standard warfare with male leader and harem of girls, but it's entertaining enough so far. With the fantasy world elements added to the using real-world military strategies part of the show, this might be worth considering a time-killer anime. <continuing for now>

Though Takuma may be the strongest Sorcerer there is, he has no idea how to talk with other people. It is here he makes his choice: to act based on his persona from the game! "Amazing? But of course... I am Diablo, the being known and feared as the Demon Lord!" So begins a tale of adventure with an earth-shakingly powerful Demon Lord (or at least someone who acts like one) taking on another world!
My First Impressions: Another person ends up transported to a fantasy world kind of anime. Unfortunately, the characters aside from the main character are fairly 2D, but there are hints of a larger story and it's somewhat interesting in terms of world building what's different in the world vs. the game version. Another time-waster anime that might be worth watching once, but probably not keeping. <continuing for now>

Summary: There is an antique shop in Kyoto's Teramachi Sanjou shopping district. High school girl Mashiro Aoi unexpectedly runs into Yagashira Kiyotaka, the son of the shop's owner, and ends up working part-time at the shop. Kiyotaka is called the "Holmes at Teramachi Sanjou," and he and Aoi solve odd cases brought to them by various clients.
My First Impressions: Only 2 episodes so far, but I can tell that it's fairly slice of life type anime with some single episode mysteries for the main characters to solve. Not great, but not bad either. Probably not one I'll be keeping or rewatching, but entertaining enough to watch once I think. <continuing for now>

Summary: Tokyo in 2030. In a suburban area, suddenly a high-frequency resonant sound is heard, and at the same time a red mist shrouds the area. Anyone who hears the sound, be it human or animal, loses consciousness. The government estimates that it might be an unidentified virus, and fearful of an epidemic, blockades Tokyo and moves its base to Osaka. However, six days after the incident, those who lost consciousness from the sound awaken for no apparent reason. Those blockaded in Tokyo slowly start to get the city functioning again, but after that day strange incidents start to occur at the blockade border. Those who have awakened a hidden blood power arise, are drawn to one another, and must face a cruel fate.

Summary: Haru Chitose, Eri Kumagai, Sarasa Ryuoh, Kiri Mukae, Uori Mukae, Sasame Mitsukuri, Miku Nishio, Hiyo Yukino, Shupe Gushiken, Kotoko Kintoki, and Roro Morooka are the eleven members of "Music Girls," an idol group produced by Pine Records. However, they're a third-rate idol group that can't seem to sell CDs at all. But even though they're obscure and constantly in debt, the members and their producer, Ikebashi, are all trying their hardest. Ikebashi gets the idea that Music Girls needs a new member—an idol who can light a fire under them so that they can grasp success!

Summary: There was once a legendary party named Subaru in the globally popular MMORPG Union. The group was made of elementary school friends. They earned fame in the blink of an eye for their unparalleled abilities in the Sense system at the core of the game. However, there was an incident where a player passed away inside the game. As a result of the death, Union ended service. Six years pass. Haruto Amō, who was a key member of Subaru, has become a hopeless high school student. His personality has changed, and he has no friends or ambition. A classmate gets him to log into the new Re'Union game, and he ends up having a "reunion" that is hard to believe. He meets his former in-game partner and real-world childhood friend Asahi Kuga. The girl who was supposed to have died six years ago was there.
My First Impressions: This seems like your fairly typical anime where the group breaks up because of the incident and then they'll slowly get back together. The characters are a little flat, but the show definitely hints at some development. I will watch a couple more episodes, but not sure whether this'll hold my interest for much longer. <continuing for now...>

Summary: Fukagawa ward of old Edo is prone to fire and flooding, so residents rent everyday items like pots, futons, and clothing from shops instead of purchasing them, so as not to impede them when they flee. Okou and Seiji, an older sister and younger brother, run one such rental shop called Izumoya. However, mixed in with their inventory are tsukumogami, objects that have turned into spirits after a hundred years of existence. The siblings sometimes lend these sentient items to customers. Both Okou and Seiji can see and talk to these spirits, and other tsukumogami often come to the store after hearing of the famed siblings.
My First Impressions: Watched a few episodes of this and it was kind of cute with its quirky characters, but each episode feels the same and while there is a larger story, it feels a bit forced. Not bad if you have some extra time to kill, but not something I would recommend. <not continuing unless recommended>

Summary: Mihara Shouma is a first-year high school student. Shouma hasn't seen his good friend Atsushi in 3.5 years, ever since they lost contact with each other after elementary school. One day, Atsushi gets in contact with Shouma to invite him to a rare festival, so they can meet up and talk. Shouma goes to the "Tanabata Seven Night Festival" deep in the mountains, but Atsushi is not there. Instead, a girl named Shiori who also has a person she wants to meet is there. The festival's program manager Kanna suggests that he stay until the festival is over, and so Shouma and Shiori help Kanna prepare for the festival. Shouma and Shiori then get wrapped up in some strange events happening in the town.
