Area no Kishi - 12+? eps

Summary: Believing himself to be useless at scorer, Aizawa Kakeru is the manager of his school's Scorer team, while his brother Suguru is its ace, and is even good enough to represent Japan. However, Kakeru may be harbouring a strong talent within himself that only Suguru can see, and the two often get into arguments over Kakeru's denial of his skills. Things are made more complicated with Suguru die in a car accident and Kakeru got a heart injure and need a heart transplant and the parent gave Suguru' heart to save Kakeru. Seven, an old playmate of theirs that Kakeru has a crush on. She join Aizawa Kakeru in his journey to the national and even international championships. [from ANN]

Ano Natsu de Matteru - 12 eps

Summary: While testing his new 8mm camera at night, Kaito Kirishima is caught amid a mysterious explosion in his small town. Strangely, Kaito wakes up the next day perfectly fine, but with no recollection of what exactly happened the day before. Unfazed by what seems to have been just a dream, he heads to school not giving much thought to the incident. Discussing with his friends about the camera, they decide to make a movie during summer break. They invite two upperclass students to participate in the project: recently arrived Ichika Takatsuki and the odd Remon Yamano. In a strange twist of fate, Ichika starts living with Kaito as his sister has to work overseas. Summer days are about to get exciting for the small film crew. [from ANN]

My First Impressions: The pacing is a bit weird to me and somehow the characters aren't very interesting either. Despite being a supposed horror type anime, the first ep just struck me as rather boring. Art isn't that great either. <not continuing unless recommended>

Brave 10 - 12+? eps

Summary: A year before the battle of Sekigahara that ended the Sengoku Period, the ninja Saizou Kirigakure meets the miko Nami Isa as she's attacked by assassins. Her shrine was destroyed by Tokugawa Ieyasu for siding with Yukimura Sanada. Meanwhile, Sanada has been gathering ten warriors known as Sanada's Brave 10, who have the power to change history. As they gather one by one, Nami's own mysterious power awakens. [from ANN]
My First Impressions: The art is fairly mediocre, the plot is fairly typical, and the characters are very 2D. The guys aren't even good looking or anything and the girl is so whiney to the point of annoyance. <not continuing unless recommended>

Gokujo. Gokurakuin Joshikou Ryou Monogatar - ? eps

Summary: The silly, slightly risque comedy is set in the halls of a high school girls' dormitory where there are no rules and anything goes. A beautiful girl named Kurihashi Minami transfer to the girls' high school Gokurakuin ("Gokujo") from Los Angeles, and she plans to rule Gokujo with her cuteness as her weapon. However, a girl named Akabane Aya confounds Minami's plans on her first day there, and Minami deals with the unpredictable life on this campus. [from anidb]

Summary: The story follows Hyoudou Issei, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. Inu x Boku SS - 12+? eps

Summary: Protected by the highest security, the Maison de Ayakashi is rumored to be haunted, where only eccentrics could live. In reality, it is a place for humans with non-human ancestors to live. The socially-inept Ririchiyo has come here to improve himself. She meets secret service bodyguard Soushi, who is assigned to protect residents. He has a request of her: "Please make me your dog." My First Impressions: I'm not too endeared towards the chracters, but it's somewhat interesting too. I'll give it at least a few more eps or until I really tire of it, but this seems to be the only show that won't bore me out of my mind this season.

Kill Me Baby - 12+? eps

Summary: Sonya is an assassin attending a normal school. Yasuna is an airhead who follows Sonya around, unaware of how dangerous she is. This adaptation of a 4-panel comic focuses on the adorable ultra-violence that erupts when they try to get along. [from ANN]

Mouretsu Uchuu Kaizoku - 26 eps

Summary: Marika is a first year high school student living in a far away galaxy known as Uminoakeboshi. One day she finds out that her recently deceased father was once the captain of the space pirate ship called the "Bentenmaru". More importantly, the only one to inherit the captain's title has to be a direct descendant?meaning that Marika is next in line to become the captain of the ship. [from ANN]
My First Impressions: After ep1, not too promising. It strikes me as simply dumb and not particularly funny or anything. The main character is such a ditz too. <unlikely to continue unless recommended>

Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai! - 12 eps

Summary: College student Yuuta Segawa is suddenly given custody of his older sister's three daughters, aged 14, 10, and 3. They're now stuck living together in a 10 square meter apartment. Meanwhile Raika, the object of his affection, has a fondness of cuteness, and his unexpected arrivals may finally offer an opportunity for them to get together. [from ANN]

Recorder to Randsell - 13? eps

Summary: The series is mainly about the Miyagawa siblings: Atsushi - an elementary student whose build and appearance is the same as a typical adult man; and Atsumi - his sister and a highschool girl whose appearance is like an elementary student. They live everyday encountering misunderstandings and misadventures, most to be blamed to their ironic age/looks. [from ANN]
My First Impressions: Cute short eps, but somehow the characters don't really appeal to me. <unlikely continuing unless recommended>

Rinne no Lagrange - 12 eps

Summary: Madoka is the lone member of her school's Jersey Club. She is one day recruited by a mysterious girl named Ran to pilot the robot "Vox" and protect her city from space invaders. They are joined by a third girl, Muginami, who has a different goal than Ran. Meanwhile, they still don't know their enemies' true goal, or what "Rinne" might be. [from ANN]
My First Impressions: This storyline is so typical and the characters are stereotypical too, but somehow an uninteresting version. It all seems so 2-dimentional. The art is okay but nothing impressive. The fights are just boring. <not continuing unless recommended>

Senki Zesshou Symphogear - 12+? eps

Summary: Two years ago, a pair of idols, Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amō, collectively known as ZweiWing, fought against an alien race known as Noise using armor known as Symphogear. To protect a girl named Hibiki Tachibana, who got severely wounded by the Noise, Kanade sacrificed herself. Two years later, as Tsubasa has fought the Noise alone, Hibiki ends up gaining the same power as Kanade. [from ANN]
My First Impressions: The art, chracters and story are all mediocre. They can't even animate the mouth to match the voice. <not continuing unless recommended>
